I joined the ACCESS-5 ham radio club in 1995 and my wife Vilma and I are still members of
this club up to the present. ACCESS stands for Alternative Channel Coordinating Emergency Support Association, Inc.
The "5" stands for District 5. The Philippines is divided into 9 districts and Region 8 (the islands of Leyte and Samar)
belongs to District 5. ACCESS-5 is based in Tacloban City. Our station
call sign is DX5LYM. To know about our club's objectives, please click here.
ACCESS-5 is very active in our community. We provide logistics and technical support
during community events. Below are some pictures taken during some of these events.
